Ethiopian Potash Corp. is a Canadian company based in Toronto, Ontario, and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Ethiopian Potash trades under the ticker symbol FED and FED.wt on the TSX-V.
Ethiopian Potash has 481 sq km of shallow mineralization potash development concessions in the fairway of the Danakil Depression, Ethiopia. The company has an existing 128 mil ton resource at 21% potash. EPC is led by a highly qualified management team with over 250 years experience in the areas of potash specifically, and the global capital markets.
The company owns two drill rigs which are 2/3 through a 6,000m drilling campaign on shallow targets that began in June '11, targeting a 1 bil tonne+ resource into M & I by the end of Q1 '12. The company will then focus its drilling on a 3,000m program to delineate an additional open-pittable 1 bil tonnes on its Colluli prospect.
EPC is currently trading at a substantial discount to peers.
